How to flash the CM11Nightly custom ROM build on Android 4.4.2 KitKat Firmware on Sony Xperia P

Unlock BOOTLOADER(plz try finding bootloader Unlock Procedure your self,because i have unlocked it few months ago and dont know the actual procedure )

1. Download the CM 11 Nightly file from here.
2. Download the Google Applications pack from here.
3. Save them in your computer and do not unzip these files, just place them on the PC’s desktop folder.
4. Now, connect the Sony Xperia P device to the PC by using the USB cable.
5. Next, move (copy-paste) the downloaded files from desktop on the device’s SD card.
6. Now, open Flash Tool - DOWNLOAD from here and open it.
7. Extract CM11 files on your pc 
8. Turn off the device, press up button and conect it to pc. (the LED will turn blue )
9. Now Flash Boot.img file in cm11 folder using Flash Tool in Fast Boot Mode.
10. Disconect Your Device.
11. Boot it into Recovery mode. By Pressing POWER BUTTON when it viberates at the sony animation.
12. From the recovery mode menu select “wipe data factory reset”, “wipe cache partition” and then “wipe dalvick cache”.
13. Now, return the device into main menu of the recovery mode and from there select “install zip from SD card”.
14. Next, select “chose zip from SD card” and pick up the copied CM 11 Android 4.4.2 file.
15. Confirm its installation and then repeat the process for installing the Google Apps file too.
16. After both files are successfully installed, from main menu of recovery mode select “reboot system now”

Unlock Sony Xperia P Bootloader

 Preparation

First thing you need to do is check whether your device bootloader is unlockable or not, how to do that >

1) Dial *#*#7378423#*#*

2) In your device tap Service Info > Configuration > Rooting Status.

3) If you get the message Bootloader unlock allowed : YES then you can unlock bootloader & if it says NO or if the status is missing then you cannot continue with bellow guide to unlock sony xperia p bootloader.

1) Charge your device more than 60%.

2) Enable USB debugging on Sony Xperia P by going to Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging > Check the box.

3) Disable PC antivirus or Firewall for 2 hours.

How To Unlock Sony Xperia P Bootloader

1) Head over to this agreement page.

2) Click Yes, I’m sure.

3) Another page will open automatically, check both the boxes & click I accept.

4) A new page will open, enter your name, email address & IMEI number of your handset, then click Submit button over there. You can get the IMEI number of your device by dialing *#06#.

5) Wait for few minute & you will receive a mail from Sony, there you will find the Sony Xperia P boot loader unlocking KEY, save it for latter use.

6) Now head over to this official Android developer page, click on Download the SDK button. Tick the box > I have read and agree with the above terms and conditions, then choose either 32 bit or 64 bit depending on your pc & then click the download button.

7) Download & Unzip this file, then place the unzipped file in usb_driver folder, located in the Android SDK > extras > google folder on your computer. Accept to replace the old android_winusb.inf-file with the new file. or DOWNLOAD Padnet for drivers and update all possible drivers in Device Manager(in control panel ) on your pc

8) Turn off your Sony Xperia P.

9) Now enter into Fastboot mode of your Xperia P , To enter into fastboot mode >Press & hold the Volume Down Key while Connecting the USB cable with your Phone as well as with your PC.

10) On your computer, you will be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android bootloader interface-file.

11) Then, go to Android SDK >> Platform tools folder. Press and hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard, then right-click on an empty part of the screen and select open a command prompt window here.

12) Now a black window will open, there type the bellow command & press enter.

• fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version

13) Now the final part, on the same Command Prompt window type this bellow command & hit enter. (here KEY refers to that boot loader key which you got via email).

• fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY

14) Great you have finished the steps to unlock Sony Xperia P bootloader.

15) At the end the finished message will be displayed, Now type bellow command & hit enter to restart your cell.

• fastboot -i 0x0fce reboot
